A-1 gave great customer service. Pam set the appointment up and explained all the details. I received an email confirming the appointment. On the day of the repair, A-1 called to let me know the plumber would be late and gave me a new time frame. All very professional! Jose came and, working within my budget, gave me an estimate, which was better than the others I had received, so I handed the job to him. He did the job quickly and very neatly. He showed me the repair to my pinhole leak and encouraged me to inspect it after we ran some water. I couldn't be happier with A-1, much thanks to Jose, and will use them again in the future!

When the gas company told me I had a leak in my gas line, that it was probably underground, and that I couldn't get the gas turned back on until the leak was fixed, I was less than excited. When another plumber took a cursory look at the situation and then gave me a five-figure bid on the repair, I was most definitely not excited. Yet when John and Mike arrived and John decided to take a closer look, he quickly realized that the leak was not underground. It was at ground level and easy to access. So he tested pressures in multiple locations, concluded that the leak was only where he found it, replaced the faulty pipe, pressure-tested again, and completed the work. The cost was three figures, not five. However, John's and Mike's diligence, helpfulness, and (most definitely) cost-effectiveness do qualify for five: five stars.
